One Punch Man xbox one

Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft (Jump Force) have announced the closed beta dates for their upcoming action fighting game One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. Would you like to know how you’ll be able to participate and get a taste of what’s to come?

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows is a 3vs3 fighting experience, with players able to form power teams made up of familiar faces from the One Punch Man universe – the likes of Genos, Hellish Blizzard, Mumen Rider, Speed-o’-Sound Sonic and Saitama. Just in case you’re unaware, Saitama is the hero who can annihilate even the mightiest of foes using only a single punch. Rather impressive, eh?

You will get the chance to create your own custom-made avatar and become a legend too though. While constantly training and completing various missions, you can make your way up through the Hero Association ranks. Even in the midst of the battle, players will always have to be on the lookout for random events that will spice up the action. These special events will range from interference by super villains to asteroids crashing down upon the battlefield.

As for the One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows closed beta, well that’ll run on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 from the 1st-4th November. Get ready to join the lobby and fight against other players or A.I. controlled characters. To claim a code to take part, you’ll have to wait until 30th October, at which point members of the Ep!c loyalty program (find out more here) can try and acquire one. But be aware that quantities will be limited, so it’s first come, first served. The closed beta sessions times are listed below:

  • Session 1 – Friday, 1st November from 11:00 to 13:00 CEST
  • Session 2 – Saturday, 2nd November from 07:00 to 09:00 CEST
  • Session 3 – Saturday, 2nd November from 22:00 to midnight CEST
  • Session 4 – Sunday, 3rd November  from 22:00 to midnight CEST

We’ll let you know once we find out the concrete release date for One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. For now though, check out the latest trailer below, which features the game’s main theme song “Freaking out!” by JAM Project.
