Does anyone here remember Hogs of War? Slightly showing your age if you do, but what a game. When I first saw the title for Ammo Pigs, that was where my mind went, wondering if it was a spiritual successor. Sadly, it isn’t. Instead, though is a run ‘n’ gun game but you still play as a pig. That sounds arguably more fun. Find out how fun as Ammo Pigs: Cocked and Loaded arrives on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
Unlike regular anthropomorphic pigs that would be ‘locked and loaded’, these Ammo Pigs are ‘Cocked and Loaded’. That is because in the future, pigs are the only species not to have been captured by the AI-controlled machines. Humanity and many other species are gone. The only animal they can save now are the chickens. Hence, ‘Cocked and Loaded’.
In Ammo Pigs: Cocked and Loaded, there is a huge emphasis or jumping and shooting. Many levels feature a lot of verticality to jump around, and mechanical beings to shoot. These pigs can’t exactly fly, but they can jump all over the place.
