It’s free-to-play. It’s cross-platform. It’s coming to Xbox One X. Yes, it’s War Thunder.
You may have heard of War Thunder. After all, more than 20 million players have experience the massively multiplayer military masterpiece across multiple platforms. A game that offers you the chance to take the fight across air, sea and land, it has more than 1000 playable aircraft, armoured vehicles and ships, with a bit of everything ranging from the early 1930s right up to the modern day.
US, Soviet, British, German, Italian, Japanese, and French military vehicles are already in play, with historically accurate recreations of their real world counterparts, but Gaijin Entertainment have still promised more to come and the best thing about is it that it is in development for Xbox One and Xbox One X.
“Our fans have been asking for War Thunder on Xbox One and we have been working toward bringing its crossplay experience to them. We are thrilled to announce that we have reached an agreement with Microsoft to bring War Thunder to Xbox One and Xbox One X,” said Anton Yudintsev, CEO, Gaijin Entertainment. “More than 20 million players have enjoyed War Thunder across multiple platforms and we cannot wait for Xbox One and Xbox One X owners to join the battle.”
There is currently no word on the release date, but as soon as we know it, we’ll pass the info on but with true 4K, war may never have looked so good!
