mortal kombat 11 launch xbox one

It’s well known for being one of the most brutal game series of all time, but now Mortal Kombat is back, and with Mortal Kombat 11 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, NetherRealm Studios are delivering brutal battles like never before!

Available right now for Xbox One, PS4 and PC players to ‘enjoy’, Mortal Kombat 11 from NetherRealm Studios is the latest iteration of the iconic fighting series which has now spanned more than a quarter of a century. As you may expect, this means there is now the opportunity to fully embrace more brain-crushing blows and Fatalities like never before, with visuals to blow you away and a roster of fighters which will see you utilising various abilities and skill sets.

There are a range of new characters joining that roster with MK11, with the likes of Geras included; a powerful and loyal servant of Kronika who can manipulate time. But alongside those a huge number of fan favourites are also in place… it wouldn’t be Mortal Kombat without the likes of Raiden, Skarlet, Scorpion, Sonya Blade and Sub-Zero.

Further to this though, MK11 also provides near infinite customisation chances, letting you personalise your experience by creating fighters with a range of different Skins, Gear, Special Abilities, Intro and Victory Cinemas, Taunts and Brutalities. All of these can be earned via the gameplay, of which yet again there are many. A new Story Mode will see you falling into the shoes of both characters from the present and the past as you get thrown into a time-bending new narrative that pits Raiden against Kronika, the Keeper of Time who created existence at the dawn of history.

Add in multiple other modes like the Towers of Time which NetherRealm have promised will be built on from past experiences, and those finding themselves fully embracing the gore of Mortal Kombat 11 will have a whole multitude of challenges to test themselves in.

Our full review of Mortal Kombat 11 is in the works and will be with you in the days ahead but should you be a veteran of the Fatality, wish to continue the fight that has been set up over the last 25 years, or are coming in fresh, looking for a new fighter to allow you to prove your skills, then heading to your favoured digital store should be actioned immediately. Xbox One owners will find the Xbox Store providing a full download of Mortal Kombat 11 for a cool ÂŁ54.99, whilst those on PS4 and PC can also get in on the brutality.

As you may expect to hear, there is also a Premium Edition of Mortal Kombat 11 available too. Priced at ÂŁ79.99, this includes the base game alongside the Kombat Pack, to include 6 new DLC fighters as and when they release, 7 exclusive character skins and gear sets, and the chance to get early access to DLC characters. The exclusive playable Johnny Cage Skin – Ninja Mime is in there too.

Should you prefer to wait to get access to the Kombat Pack, then you’ll find it available as an individual purchase for ÂŁ32.79, whilst access to Shao Kahn comes about via another ÂŁ4.79 cash drop.
