Xbox One owners have had to sit back and wait patiently for the release of Pure Pool, but finally a confirmed date is with us….and it isn’t far away!

Coming to Xbox One on November 14th 2014, Pure Pool will provide you with the most authentic pool experience to date all for a lovely £6.99/ €7.99/ $9.99 price.

Developers VooFoo Studios, have plenty of experience in the pool market and so a refined formula should be able to deliver Xbox One players the ultimate next gen pool game.

It’ll obviously come packed to the rafters with ultra realistic HD visuals and a super physics engine, but you’ll also get to take on the world online competing in head-to-head matches and in global online leagues.

If you would like to know more about the game, we caught up with the devs a few months back for an exclusive Q&A. Check it out right here.

We’ll let you know as soon as Pure Pool is available. The 14th November can’t come quick enough!

No kinect support….. No buy.

Games like this scream kinect. It would have made it unique offered a differnt type of challenge and would have just felt right even if it was just an option. These are opportunities game devs are just missing for no real reason.

We’re big fans of Kinect (especially on Xbox One) but really not sure it is still good enough to not make Pure Pool verge on the edge of frustration.

Having the option there for those who want it would have been cool though.

*stifles laughter*

No time wasted with Kinect support means I might actually give it the time of day. This is a developer that knows what people don’t want.

Stan…. Is that you?
I can tell your weirdness even through disguise. If you want to buy this more power to you. I would rather play pool on a tablet than with a controller. That is so lame. Built for people that don’t like innovation and interesting things.

Why do we keep seeing articles about the ridiculousness of the Xbone parity release thing (this isn’t one, I know, but I saw one just earlier in the week by another website). It clearly DOESN’T exist or Xbone would have had even less games released in 2014 (yes there were 8 months in 2014 before Sep, I know hard to believe right?).
Maybe Xbox and co will finally go back to doing the Xbox Live Weekly Release posts since it is obvious why they stopped doing it the week AFTER Xbone launched in Nov 2013. In case you didn’t figure it out there were times in 2014 that the Xbone went up to TEN WEEKS without a new game.
Pure Pool is ace though and I believe they said they will be bringing a Snooker expansion to it too 🙂

Couldn’t possibly comment on the parity clause, mostly because it make absolutely no difference to our way of thinking…we’ll let other sites chat on about it if they want but like the old 1080p arguments, you won’t see us going on about it.

But for Pure Pool….Admittedly it was a few months back but one of the questions in our Q&A with Voofoo was ‘Are we likely to see any game modes apart from pool ie. snooker, bar billiards added in?’ and they had the following response…’Additional modes such as snooker are obviously a distinct possibly but no firm details are decided as yet.’.

Obviously things may have changed since we spoke to them but it would be lovely to see snooker involved eventually. Especially seeing how beautiful Pure Pool is.
