Priced at just £4.99 – and even then there’s a nifty launch discount in place should you be quick – Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet on Xbox One sees us following the life and times of a candy alchemist, Syrup. Her task? To achieve her dreams of making the Ultimate Sweet.
Whilst that setup is instantly appealing, things aren’t quite as they seem with Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet, yet once you throw in the opportunity to meet a wide cast of memorable characters, understand that choice and consequence affects the overall story, and that there are no less than 10 unique endings to enjoy, things just get better still.
A full sell of Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet on Xbox One is helped even more but the utterly adorable art style that helps push things along.
