Call of Duty Vanguard Xbox

Returning to its World War II roots, the Call of Duty franchise really does need no introduction. The latest instalment in the acclaimed FPS franchise, Call of Duty: Vanguard, is available now on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

Call of Duty: Vanguard comes with everything you have come to expect from a Call of Duty game: An exhilarating yet emotional single-player campaign, a full multiplayer mode and of course, Zombies. Vanguard multiplayer will feature 20 maps at launch and the deepest integration yet with Call of Duty: Warzone, including early access to the new Caldera map.

In the campaign you will experience the origins of Special Forces through four major periods of World War II: the Pacific War, North African campaign and Eastern and Western Fronts. The characters you play as will be inspired by real-life heroes of the war as you fight through tide-turning battles.

Now comes the tricky part though. Which version of Call of Cuty: Vanguard do you purchase? As is standard for the series, there is a variety of options, but some don’t offer everything you might expect. The Standard Edition priced at £59.99 only include the Xbox One version. There is a separate Cross-Gen Upgrade for those that are picking up an Xbox Series X|S later on and this costs £9.99.

Coming in at £69.99 is the Call of Duty: Vanguard – Cross-Gen Bundle. This includes both generations of the game, five hours of double weapon XP and the Frontline Weapons Pack. Finally, at £99.99 is the Call of Duty: Vanguard – Ultimate Edition. This comes with all the above, the Task Force One Pack which includes additional skins and weapon blueprints, the Battle Pass Bundle and five hours of double standard XP.

We will have a review coming real soon to help you decide which version is best suited for you so stick around for that. Until then, we’ll see you in the lobbies!
