Way back in 2006 Rogue Trooper gained a huge number of fans. Now, in 2017, Rebellion are hoping that the Redux version will garner just as much attention.
Today is a big day for Rogue Trooper fans. Not only has Rogue Trooper Redux been confirmed for a October 17th 2017 release date, with Xbox One, PS4 and PC versions due to drop (a Nintendo Switch edition will release soon after in case you were wondering), but Rebellion have also dropped a new trailer for the world to view… and in it you get to see the comparison in visuals between the 2006 game, and the more modern version.
With a BAFTA nominated campaign included, and dedicated online co-op modes to ensure the multiplayer side of things is catered for, Rogue Trooper Redux will offer shooting fans incredible value, whether you’re new to the universe, or a fan of the original game and comics.
The remastered Rogue Trooper will bring:
- Completely remodelled characters, weapons and vehicles
- Remastered cinematics
- New special effects
- Dynamic lighting
- Higher fidelity geometry
Make sure you keep an eye out for it, but for now, hit up that trailer.
What an odd choice of a game to remaster.
