Saomi runs and jumps on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

saomi xbox game

See the QUByte Interactive name next to an Xbox Store listing and you should know what to expect – a cheap price and the chance for some reasonably swift fun. Saomi is the latest to come to market.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Saomi is a little platformer that is looking to worm its way into the minds of players. It follows the titular protagonist as you take control of Saomi and head off in search of challenge and adventure.

Priced at a mere £3.29, Saomi will have you running, jumping, traversing and navigating your way through a host of levels, dodging traps and obstacles, utilising an air thrust and more, all in hope of hunting down an old family treasure – the rarest of rare diamonds.

Putting your platforming skills to the test, if you’re up for a cheap, cheerful, cheevo filled challenge, then Saomi should no doubt be highly considered. You’ll find it on the Xbox Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, sitting pretty alongside other QUByte Interactive games like the recently released Radical Rex.

Keep an eye out for some review thoughts from us when we get the chance. If you get the chance to play it, let us know what you think of Saomi by heading down into the comments section at the end of this piece.

Game Description:

Saomi is a little adventurer who likes challenges and exploring new places. In this adventure, Saomi sets out in search of a very rare diamond that was lost in an old family treasure. During the adventure, Saomi will run, jump through obstacles, use the double jump to jump through even bigger obstacles, use her air thrust skill to dodge traps, jump and slide along walls and much more in search of lost treasure.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
