Season Five of For Honor sees players enter the Age of Wolves

2026's Best Games

For Honor may not have proven as popular as expected, however that doesn’t mean there aren’t those out there still keen to prove themselves in battle and today’s announcement from Ubisoft will be sure to please those still wading into the fight. A number of new changes are set to arrive to make the experience even more enjoyable alongside Season Five, Age of Wolves.

The first of the new changes is one fans have been calling for since the game released back in February 2017 – the implementation of Dedicated Servers. This is sure to please many who have been subject to the constant resyncing, session migrations and NAT requirement issues with players now able to find a stable connection through the new servers. This will be implemented at some point during Season Five.

The next new addition comes in the form of three new training modes to help players hone their skills. This means newcomers will now have a place to learn the basics of the game, as well as more advanced techniques in the new Apprentice Trials and the Warriors Trials modes, whilst The Arena mode will allow advanced players to practice against specific heroes or moves to help prepare for any potential opponent or combination they might come up against in battle.

On top of both of the new additions, players can expect to find some major updates to five of the current Heroes, with Kensei, Conqueror, Highlander, Berserker and Nobushi all set to receive major gameplay balancing updates. There are also new move sets, animations and kit changes coming for Kensei and Conqueror.

Although the new changes are sure to please players, they aren’t the only thing to be excited about, as Season Five will also bring a multitude of quality of life improvements, including a new item that will boost XP gain in exchange for salvage, the shift of 4v4 Ranked Mode from Dominion to Tribute, a new reputation level cap, new gear progression and much more.

Season Five, Age of Wolves is just the first of an entire year of new content set to arrive in For Honor, so stay tuned to hear more on future updates.

So, there we have it. Everything you can expect to find when Season Five, Age of Wolves arrives on February 15th. Will you be heading back in to the battle? Let us know in the comments below or via our usual social channels.
