It’s not very often we’re encouraged to hit balls into each other’s faces in the name of gaming, but that’s exactly what the newest game on the block wants us to do. This is Lethal League!
With up to four players able to play Lethal League, both locally and online, you can head into a trio of solo and team based game modes with friends or randoms, where the eventual victor is generally the one smashing the anti-gravity ball into their opposition the most. Every hit speeds up the velocity of the ball and so you can expect a frantic battle to ensue. There are a variety of characters to choose from too, such as the cyborg crocodile Latch and the robotic skateboarder Switch, each possessing their own special abilities. If that’s not enough, then there’s even some banging beats on the soundtrack to accompany to crazy gameplay.
Has it always been a dream of yours to whack a ball into someone’s face? Then all you have to do is get yourself over to the Xbox Games Store and shed out £11.99 for Lethal League. It might be worth holding off till you’ve read our review though, so keep your eyes peeled for that one.
