Spacelines from the Far Out to launch onto the Xbox and PC galaxies come November

We’ve seen demos for Spacelines from the Far Out hit Xbox and PC stores in recent times, but today, just as the pre-orders open up, Skystone Games and the development team at Coffeenauts have confirmed that their comedic galactic jaunt will be coming to Xbox and PC in November.

It’ll be November 4th 2021 when Spacelines from the Far Out properly hits Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. But if you pre-order now, you’ll be treated to some in-game goodies to help you out.

Spacelines from the Far Out promises to deliver a heavily comedic mash-up, one that combines sci-fi party, co-op, rogue-lite, tycoon, space sim, action-RPG elements into a game that blends the golden era of air travel with the utopian space age of the ‘60s.

With that genre list, you’d not be surprised to hear that the features include every trope imaginable from the “glory” that was mid-century Planet Earth. This means players can expect incredibly bad food, dance-offs, random encounters of the 5th kind, repairing broken equipment, dealing with gravity loss, piloting 101, vomit puddles, floating vomit puddles, hull damage, space hazards, asteroids galore, lack of fuel, various paid entertainment features, price hikes, and the Inspector.

If you’re sold on that, and ready to take off into the heavens, then the three pre-order packages should well be of interest…

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
