The Psychoduck Xbox

Ducks are normally a peaceful bird, especially when compared with swans. Those long-necked buggers are deceitfully violent. But this particular duck is different. The Psychoduck, out today on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, is hell bent on stabbing herons to collect their crowns. It’s a concept that can only be in a videogame.

The Psychoduck is a retro looking stealth game with bright colours and frog sentries. There is a false sense of security with the graphics, especially when you consider you are playing as a duck with a knife in their hand.

It is another Ratalaika Games offering, and once again promises easy achievements. The Psychoduck also features:

  • Stealth-based puzzle action gameplay
  • Multiple game mechanics involving different animals
  • Collect all hidden snails
  • Play on 3 different biomes!

Hidden snails are The Psychoducks collectibles and will be placed in ways that require you to be even more stealthy. But you do have tools at your disposal alongside the knife to help you out. A slingshot can be used to distract guards with rocks. You can even climb aboard an alligator and surf it around the islands.

The Psychoduck is available to download now from the Xbox Store, priced at £4.99. As usual with Ratalaika, there is an introductory discount dropping it to £3.99 for a short time. We will have a review of this crazy canard coming very soon so stay tuned. For now though, let us know in the comments which you think is the craziest animal in the world. Excluding of course, this duck in question here.

Game description

The Psychoduck is a stealth game about a psychotic duck who collects crowns and has no problem killing all the enemy herons to increase his collection. Distract sentries with your slingshot, surf alligators, help turtles make way, and more! Gather all the snails, use different mechanics to distract frog sentries, then advance through each map to assassinate the white birds.
