Four years in the making, SteelSeries have today unveiled their latest gaming headset – the Arctis Nova Pro series.
You’ve no doubt heard of SteelSeries, mostly as they are right up there as one of the worldwide leaders in the gaming and esports peripherals market. They’ve delivered numerous headsets over the years, with us loving the Arctis 1 Wireless and Arctis 7X Wireless headsets for Xbox. Now though it’s time for SteelSeries to move forward and they are doing that with the Arctis Nova Pro series.
Promising to be the future of gaming audio, SteelSeries have worked towards their goals of challenging the status quo, as they loko to alleviate pain points in gaming, and go about designing the ultimate sound experience. A series of headsets that have been inspired by audiophile listening rooms that are devoid of noise and provide full audio control, SteelSeries have managed to create that complete acoustic experience within a gaming headset.
The Arctis Nova Pro series of headset is able to produce a new level of excellence for high fidelity audio, AI-powered voice clarity, and – most impoertantly – some all-day comfort. It comes with a new sleek Danish design and works with all manner of gaming platforms, pretty much like never before. And to power the new Arctis Nova franchise, SteelSeries have also developed the Sonar Audio Software Suite, which introduces the world to the first pro-grade parametric EQ for gamers. It’s this which has been specifically designed to turbocharge any headset for gaming and provide a limitless ability to control sound across games, team chat, and the microphone, as Sonar allows gamers to adjust every individual frequency and hear the sounds that matter the most.
SteelSeries are hoping that by combining these two ideas – the Arctis Nova Pro Headsets & the Sonar Audio Software Suite – users will get to experience the ultimate sound quality, clarity, and control, as they come together to re-raise the bar for gaming audio and redefine SteelSeries’ signature sound. SteelSeries are promising that the result will be the incarnation of a new superpower for gamers, where they can lose themselves in the soundscape with 360° Spatial Audio – yep, you’ll get to hear every critical step, reload, or enemy movement by taking control of every sonic element utilizing Sonar’s EQ, and achieve sound purity unlike any other gaming headset through the all-new High Fidelity speaker drivers engineered for the Arctis Nova franchise.
“There are defining moments in every industry, and this is one of those landmark days,” said Ehtisham Rabbani, SteelSeries CEO. “Today we usher in a new era of gaming audio with the launch of the Arctis Nova Pro series and the Sonar Audio Software Suite. We are truly excited to empower gamers, provide them with a competitive edge, and have them experience pure Hi-Fidelity acoustics in gaming.”
After being at the forefront for more than two decades, SteelSeries has been laser-focused on the gamer experience and lifestyle. It’s with the Arctis Nova Pro series, stocked with state-of-the-art features that do just that. It promises to be a first in gaming, as the Multi-System Connect hub allows for USB switching between multiple devices at the same time. What this means is that gamers can seamlessly swap between a PC, PlayStation, Switch, or mobile device with the press of a button, without having to swap cables.
SteelSeries have an Xbox specific version of the Arctis Nova Pro series too.
