Take a shot with 35MM on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch

-

35mm game

There are certain developers who pop up onto the scene, make a mark, and then leave. Others slowly worm their way into our gaming minds, delivering up the most atmospheric and immersive of experiences. Noskov Sergey is in the latter camp and today the dev behind some of the most atmospheric gaming titles of recent years returns ,with the launch of 35MM.

35MM is available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. It’s priced at £8.39 and comes from the same dev who previously created 7th Sector and In rays of the Light.

This one comes to console as a remastered version of the original PC game, and that means us console players will have access to updated visuals and a photo mode which is exclusive to the launch.

If you decide to take in 35MM, then you’ll find yourself thrust into a post-apocalyptic tale that focuses on a couple of travellers who are lost in the wasteland. A pandemic has hit, the world’s population has been ripped to shreds and normal life is that of a memory. It’s up to you to help these two adapt and survive.

Taking you through post-apocalyptic Russia, the adventure will unfold ahead of you as items and secrets are unveiled. Quest lines await, but how things finish is determined by your own actions.

We’d advise you to head to your favoured digital store – the Xbox Store being the one for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S – and pick up the download you need. You’ll also find 35MM on PlayStation and Switch (and PC).

Our full review of how 35MM plays on Xbox is right here.

Game Description:

Post-apocalyptic story about two travelers who set out on a long journey in the wasteland, left by people after the pandemic. The disaster destroyed much of the world’s population, the infrastructure went wrong and the common life remained only in memories. The times when a human has adapted the environment for himself have end and now, in order to survive, he will have to adapt to changes. You will have to play the character whose path runs through the deserted towns and cities in Russia, fields and forests of a vast country and even a secret underground facility. Who are we, where are we from and where do we go – we will be lucky to know it only at the end! This adventure story will let you explore in more detail a number of interesting locations of post-apocalyptic Russia, filled with a variety of items and secrets. During the journey you will collect supplies, food, batteries and weapons, solve quests and move forward on the plot, which has several variations in the final, depending on your actions.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
