Fans of the popular CBS All Access (or Netflix in some cases) TV series Star Trek: Discovery will be pleased to find that the latest update for Star Trek Online allows players to explore its exciting universe. Prepare to board the U.S.S. Glenn, for this is the Age of Discovery!
Age of Discovery is a multi-part adventure and the first instalment has now launched for the free-to-play MMORPG, Star Trek Online. Now, it’s possible to create a Federation Captain as you begin a new voyage of discovery, with a brand new tutorial to kick things off. This new update unlocks the level requirement for all missions and the new streamlined mission journal should help you to navigate through content to identify the game’s most important storylines.
In addition, those familiar with – and even if you aren’t, that’s okay – Star Trek: Discovery can relish the opportunity become a part of the show and team up with Cadet Sylvia Tilly (voiced by Mary Wiseman) to battle the Klingon, led by J’Ula, who’s the sister of T’Kuvma and matriarch of the House of Mo’Kai. With two episodes to play through, extra Reputation Tiers, a new Task Force Operation and other new gameplay features included, there’s seldom a better time to get involved.
