The creator of the mega Call of Duty franchise, and co-creator of Infinity Ward, announcing a martial arts tycoon game set within the Brazilian favelas, certainly was not on our 2023 bingo card. With such a name as big as Chance Glasco behind it, we are fully prepared to explore Martial Arts Tycoon: Brazil.
Revealed at BIG Festival
Being a game set in Brazil, it is only right for Good Dog Studios to fully reveal this exciting title at the BIG Games Festival. It is that which is taking place in the carnival country from the 28th June – 2nd July. The presentation of Martial Arts Tycoon: Brazil has taken place, so check it out via the BIG Festival’s site.
Glasco has a storied history with the country. In fact, he developed his love of jiu jitsu over there following his time at Infinity Ward. He had this to say on the reveal:
Brazil has always had a special place in my heart. After my time at Infinity Ward over 10 years ago, I moved to Brazil to live and train in jiu-jitsu. I met some of my best friends in the world there, and can speak from experience when I say that Brazilian gamers are the most passionate group of gamers I’ve ever met. It’s an honor to debut Martial Arts Tycoon: Brazil at this year’s BIG Festival. Through this game, our team aims to capture an authentic snapshot of everyday life in Brazil, be it in favelas or more commonly recognized places like Copacabana and Ipanema. We hope the level of detail we pour into Martial Arts Tycoon: Brazil makes every Brazilian gamer proud when it launches next year.
