Shoot to survive in Toadomination on Xbox

It’ll be your love – or hate – of the bullet-hell scene that dictates whether you decide to purchase and play Toadomination on Xbox. I mean, there’s a LOT of bullets being fired out in this one.

Shoot ’em up with Toadomination on Xbox

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is Toadomination from HugePixel and ChiliDog Interactive. It has you playing as Toad – unsurprisingly – as he kits himself out with a ton of weaponry. From there, death and destruction await.

Running a lowly £4.19 price tag, Toadomination on Xbox looks to be one of those games that would be best dipping into for five minutes, blasting away to waste a bit of time. Anything more than that and there’s a chance your eyes will start to bleed, your head will hurt and your gaming skills will fall by the wayside.

Old school blasting

Toadomination takes the best bits of the 1990s and leaves you to get on with it. There are no loot boxes to worry about, no battle pass ladders to climb. There’s not even any grinding to win – although we’d suspect you’ll need to grind the kills a little in order for success.

If you think you have what it takes to help Toad on his quest for survival, then the Xbox Store will sort you out. Toadomination is on Xbox, playable on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

Game Description

One day the little sentient Toad has decided to arm himself with some heavy weaponry and deal some serious damage with no specific reason. It’s a miracle that Toad was able to pick up his first pistol — soon afterwards he found himself dodging, shooting, crushing and earning money from the dead enemies. Toadomination revives the best moments from the 90’s era with action packed gameplay and that very special nostalgic feeling. This game is meant to be played like it’s 1995 again — no loot boxes, no battle passes, no grinding and paying to win. It’s only your skills that matter when it comes to Toad’s survival and total Toad Domination!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
