Think of yourself as some kind of gaming rock superstar? Wish to add a few more tunes to your Rocksmith library? The Indigo Girls are here, bringing with them some cracking folk hits.

Available to add into Rocksmith on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC right now is the Rocksmith Indigo Girls Song Pack, delivering three tunes from the finest female folk duo the world has seen.

Following on from seeing the hardcore Metal Mix II pack arrive last week, and numerous training aids that have popped up in recent weeks, the Indigo Girls Song Pack for Rocksmith includes the following crackers…

  • Closer to Fine
  • Galileo
  • Power of Two

Now, you should really know how all this works by now but in case you are new to the Rocksmith scene and are just starting out on your journey to guitar greatness, let us fill you in a little. The song pack is out now and comes priced at £6.69, but alongside that each of the tunes included are also available as individual purchases. And it is those individual purchases that see a £2.49 price attached to each, allowing those tight on cash the chance to still get involved.

Of course, should you be a fan of what the Indigo Girls have created over the decades and reckon the full song pack is for you, fill your boots, as we’re sure you’ll be delighted with the tracks on offer. Otherwise though, there’s always next week – or any of the previous content drops – and the chance to pick up even more tunes for your Rocksmith pleasure.

If you wish to know more about Rocksmith and are considering learning how to play guitar then our full review of the game on Xbox One will sort you out. It’s a game that is sold on the back of being the fastest way to learn guitar, and we more than agree with that tagline.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
