It’s been nearly a year since we first heard of Mia and the Dragon Princess, but finally a fully confirmed release date for Wales Interactive’s next FMV is known. And pre-order opportunities open too.Â
We know Wales Interactive as the champions of the FMV scene, with a whole host of brilliant titles behind them; Late Shift, Five Dates, Ten Dates, The Bunker and more are all worth a play. But next up for the multi-award winners is that of Mia and the Dragon Princess.Â
Coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, iOS and Android, Mia and the Dragon Princess’ story will begin to unfold on May 4th 2023. An interactive buddy-action movie, drop into the world of Mia and the Dragon Princess comes May and you’ll find that you come face-to-face with Mia – a bartender who has found her life thrown upside-down as a mysterious woman rocks up at her bar. See, this woman is on the run from a bunch of violent thugs.
If you’re at all familiar with a Wales Interactive game then you should know what to expect from the release of Mia and the Dragon Princess – cracking movie elements, superb acting, various storytelling paths and more. And when you consider the cast of actors in place features the likes of Paul McGann (Doctor Who, Alien 3, Withnail & I), Brian McCardie (Time, Rob Roy) and MyAnna Buring (The Witcher, Ripper Street), Dita Tantang and Noa Bleeker, you can begin to understand the excitement.
But how will the tale of Mia and the Dragon Princess play out? Well, ultimately that is down to you, as you make the most of a variety of narrative arcs, delivering your own unique decisions as you move through the tale. It will however focus mainly on Mia and her fate. It’s up to you how that one plays out.
