-

The self-proclaimed dream team of Gareth, Paul and Richard are present for TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 142, with all sorts on the agenda this week. Expect to hear about the downfall of Stadia and the future plans of CD Projekt Red, as well as a whole load of opinions on new games including JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R and The Diofield Chronicle. So, please settle down and enjoy our musings.

Before launching into the games they’ve been playing though, the trio discuss what they’ve been doing. Gareth’s indulging in The Old Man on Disney+ and Paul is getting his thrills from Taxi Driver on Netflix, while Richard took a trip to attend a Distant Worlds concert. If none of those are of interest however, fear not for we have opinions on games to follow.

Should you be on the lookout for something new to play, our unbiased reviews might provide inspiration. Slip on your bowling shoes for PBA Pro Bowling 2023, get stuck into a fight in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle R, or put your tactical mind through its paces with The Diofield Chronicle. Alternatively, you may wish to enjoy the narrative of Alfred Hitchcock – Vertigo, lead a team of heroes in Fallen Legion Revenants, or explore a mysteriously puzzling world in OneShot: World Machine Edition.

TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 165: Games for June and Fable rumours TheXboxHub Official Podcast

TheXboxHub Official Podcast Episode 165 looks towards the gaming releases on Xbox for June, but that’s not all. The Fable rumours stir up a discussion about the upcoming Xbox Showcase and a cavalcade of new games are on the agenda in regards to what the team have been playing, including The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. So, be sure to tune in and give it a listen. This week's episode sees Gareth, James, Paul and William get together as they kick things off with a quick catch-up. From fishing and working hard, to witnessing the end of great TV shows like Barry and Succession, it’s a real mixture. But then attention turns to games, games, and more games. The quartet have been spending their free time playing a variety of games lately and share their honest opinions on them. Expect to get insight on the excellent The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, humorous point-and-click adventure Lucy Dreaming, the abstract world of After Us, hardcore drifting courtesy of DRIFTCE, the appalling Boss Rush Mythology, unorthodox fighting in Verdict Guilty, and 2D side-scrolling action of Eastern Exorcist.  Following that, they delve into the upcoming titles such as Diablo IV, Park Beyond, Street Fighter 6, Layers of Fear, and others. And finally, the Xbox Showcase predictions come to the forefront amidst rumours of Fable potentially being shown in some capacity.
