The Town of Light developer offers insight into ‘La Bambola’ in a new video

-

The developers behind the disturbing story-driven The Town of Light, LKA.it, have produced a brand new featurette to provide gamers with a better understanding of one of the game’s more intriguing characters – La Bambola.

This new video features the studio head and screenwriter Luca Dalcò discussing the symbolism behind ‘La Bambola’ (the doll), Charlotte. Unlike the traditional usage of a doll within the horror genre, the rather weathered porcelain face of Charlotte holds a deeper significance for the main character Renée, acting as a connection between her and the world outside of the Volterra Psychiatric Asylum, amongst other things.

It’s quite an interesting watch, but if you haven’t played the game itself, then maybe our review will enlighten you. The Town of Light is available on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, so if you’re intrigued after reading our thoughts then head to your respective game stores and pick it up.

Been gaming casually since the SNES as a youngster but found my true passion for games on the Playstation 1 (the forbidden word ooo). My addiction grew to its pinnacle with the purchase of an Xbox 360 & Xbox Live Service. A recovering GS hunter that will still play literally any game.
