Every now and then something weird arrives in the console market and back at the end of 2020 that weirdness came in the form of Freddy Spaghetti; an odd little title from Ratalaika Games which had you playing as Freddy, a piece of spaghetti. But now Freddy is back, in the imaginatively named Freddy Spaghetti 2.0.

Nope, this is no reboot of the original game, but more a sequel to the madness that unfolded first time out. And this time Freddy has only gone and got himself a job.

Yep, this piece of spaghetti works, or at least attempts to work, as he finds himself slap-bang in the middle of the workplace, left to overcome the environment, work out how to use the coffee machine, the photocopier and more. Using the same rope styled physics that made the original game a little unique, you should expect more of the fun and games that originally came about, just in different settings.

With a story in place – yep, every bit of spaghetti needs a story – a load of narration and tons of personality, if you liked what came about first time around then Freddy Spaghetti 2.0 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch is going to be for you.

Those key features include:

  • Fun and Easy Controls
  • Physics all over the place
  • Unique Levels
  • Hilarious and Captivating Story
  • Professional Narration
  • Heaps of Personality

You’ll find it present on the usual digital stores for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, with full Smart Delivery and X|S Optimisation in play. It’s priced at just £4.99 from the Xbox Store – surely that’s low enough to tempt you in for seconds?

Game Description:

Freddy 2.0 is here! Freddy is spaghetti. Oh, and conscious. Freddy 2.0 has got a job! The story starts as you plunge headfirst into the workplace. Overcome the environment, master your spaghetti and run to the coffee machine! Don’t be late on your first day! Freddy Spaghetti uses rope physics to simulate a squishy, stretchy, ropey character.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
