In a rather surprising turn of events, the WWE 2K19 Roster Reveal has officially begun during a live taping of WWE NXT UK and as a result, the first two playable characters have been unveiled. Step forward British Superstars Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate!
Every year, WWE 2K reveal the roster bit by bit, throwing in a few surprises here and there, for the upcoming instalment of their WWE 2K series. The first of the two reveals is the ‘Bruiserweight’ Pete Dunne, who’s the current holder of the WWE United Kingdom Championship and has been involved in a number of terrific matches – most recently in a title defence against Zack Gibson. The inaugural WWE United Kingdom Champion and one half of Moustache Mountain, Tyler Bate, is the other character announced and we can’t wait to get our hands on either of them.
Both Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate are more than deserving of making their debut in WWE 2K19 and here’s hoping more of the UK contingent are added to the roster in the coming weeks. All we can do is wait and see how the rest of the WWE 2K19 Roster Reveal unfolds.
The standard edition of WWE 2K19 is scheduled for a worldwide release on 9th October, 2018 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, with those ordering the Deluxe and Collector’s editions four days earlier players on 5th October, 2018 via ‘Early Axxess’.
