Volume 3 of the Atari Flashback Classics series now available on Xbox One

-

It was back in the early stages of 2017 when we saw Atari deliver no less than 100 of their classic games to Xbox One, with the addition of the Atari Flashback Classics Volume 1 and Volume 2 bundles to the Xbox Store. Well, now they are back with the third edition of their series.

Delivering classic arcade, Atari 2600 and 5200 games to the modern day gamer, the Atari Flashback series has seen the likes of Centipede, Swordquest, Asteroids, Haunted House and more become available for Xbox One gamers to enjoy. Today, the addition of the Atari Flashback Classics Volume 3 brings another 50 games to the table, with the chance to kick, fight, dunk, race and blast your way though some of the most timeless classics.

Priced up at £15.99, if you like to drop in with the retro scene every once in a while then we’re not sure there is a better way of doing so; a combination of the price point plus the sheer number of games included sees this pack coming across as rather decent value for money.

Whether you’re looking to dip your toe into the Atari scene for the first time, wish to get a hit of nostalgia from years gone by, or just fancy adding even more retro titles to your current library, the Atari Flashback Classics Volume 3 delivers. Hop over to the Xbox Store and nab a download right now.

Game Description:

Atari Flashback Classics Volume 3 brings more classic arcade, Atari 2600 and 5200 games to the latest generation of consoles and, for the first time, vintage hits from M Network. Kick, fight, dunk, race and blast your way through 50 timeless games from Atari’s vast library of hits. Gain fame by landing your initials on the top of the leaderboards or challenge others online and show your mettle against classic gamers from around the world.

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
