Sony finally reversed its policy on cross play for the PS4, and we discuss how much of a factor Fortnite was in this decision. Did Sony do this because they wanted to, or did they finally give in to pressure from fans and the PR machine? Which other games would we like to see cross play available for in the future?
Microsoft had another Inside Xbox this week, and the focus was on the upcoming Forza Horizon 4. How excited are we for the game? Did the Bond Car Pack or the Halo Showcase Event interest us at all? In addition, Phil Spencer stopped by on the broadcast to tell Major Nelson about mouse and keyboard support coming to the Xbox One, and we discuss the implications of that announcement too.
Telltale has pulled The Walking Dead: The Final Season’s Season Pass from stores, Red Dead Redemption 2 will offer DLC to PlayStation 30 days before Xbox, and we admit that Graham was right about Nintendo Switch Online’s cloud saves. Finally, we discuss the announced X0 and accompanying Fan Fest Xbox is holding in Mexico City this fall.
