Another week down and we’re back in business as the Xbox world ramps up once again. But which articles from between the 28th August – 3rd September did we take a fancy to? Let us take you on a trip through our favourites.

Hue Review

Hue tells the story of a young boy who wakes up in a grayscale world with his mother nowhere to be seen. By using his special power of seeing beyond the dull black and white world, Hue and the player can select a colour to fill up the world, making various objects appear and disappear, so he can solve puzzles and continue on his journey.

As you can imagine, at various points Hue requires some real brain power to solve some of its fiendish puzzles, so if you want a game to test your mind, then Hue is it.

As ever, we have a full review up for your perusal. Don’t miss it.

Battlefield 1 Beta Impressions

Let’s be honest, Battlefield One is on your must buy list for 2016. I’d imagine it’s pretty near the top too.

Recently EA have given us the chance to try out the BF1 multiplayer with an open-beta. Yes, the servers had a bit of a problem at launch, but what we have been able to play of the two game modes available (Conquest and Rush) has been absolutely fantastic.

Long time Battlefield fan Carlos gives his full impressions on his time in the beta and, after checking them out, we reckon you’ll be itching at the opportunity to jump back in time yourself.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Review

As you probably know, Adam Jensen is back, augs and all, taking us on another foray into the Deus Ex universe.

Set two years after the horrific ‘Aug Incident’, Mankind Divided lets you run wild with Jensen, playing the game your way with various powers and weapons to utilise.

But the real question on everyone’s lips is this… does Mankind Divided reach the heights of its predecessor or is this another sequel that ultimately falls short? Tobias lets us know with a full review – if you want a first-hand opinion on this ambitious new Deus Ex title then we urge you to have a read.

ARK: Survival Evolved gets huge expansion pack and new update with HD upgrade, mods and more!

We still haven’t witnessed everything that ARK: Survival Evolved on Xbox One has hidden away in its huge open world, but maybe a new expansion pack isn’t such a bad thing!

Through Xbox One Game Preview, we can get our hands on the latest update to hit ARK; an update and expansion which includes new biomes, creatures and gameplay mechanics to name just a few. With a ton of exciting new features making their way into ARK, if you are one of those who have managed to survive without getting stomped on by a dinosaur, then a whole new challenge lies ahead.

Are the free Xbox Games With Gold titles for September 2016 any good?

There is no doubt that being an Xbox Live Gold subscriber is a great thing. And that subscription gets better each time the Games With Gold scheme delivers us new games for free.

But sometimes we can be a little let down by the games on offer – will September be another let-down or can the month deliver some stellar titles?

As ever, Neil has the info and tells you exactly how good the free games given away throughout September are.

I'm an avid gamer who will play pretty much anything... but stick an open world or adventure game in front of me and I'm more than happy.
