It’s quite a nice time to be a gamer right now. The past few days have seen us going crazy over the many announcements to come out of E3 2017, with a new console and countless new games set to arrive in the coming months for Xbox fans. But with each new week comes new deals, no matter the occasion.

So with that in mind, let’s take our minds off the press conferences for a moment and focus on the latest Xbox Live Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale 13th-19th June 2017, to see which of this week’s offers are worth adding to your collection and which you should be looking to avoid.

GrabStardew Valley – £8.99

By now you’ve probably heard of indie sensation Stardew Valley and for good reason. It’s pretty damn enjoyable.

If you haven’t, then now is the time to take on your grandfathers dilapidated farm and turn it into something special, as you clear land, plant crops, raise livestock and bring the family business alive once more.

Stardew Valley is a game that can be enjoyed for hundreds of hours and for just under nine quid, this is a bargain we should all be looking to get in on. Whether you’re looking for something to pass the time on a rainy day, or just looking for something special to add to your collection, this is certainly one that shouldn’t be missed.

GrabBridge Constructor – £2.64

Whilst astronaut, police man, and football player were all things that became lifetime wishes when I was younger, bridge construction was never something I aspired to do in my younger days.

Nevertheless it’s something I find myself getting involved quite often on the Xbox One and that’s because Bridge Constructor is a game that pulls me in for more each time I play.

Bridge Constructor is smashing indie title, and whilst it may not be as full of content as our other entries on this list, it’s still one that’s well worth your time, especially now that it is under three quid.

You could find yourself becoming an avid bridge constructor by snapping up a great bargain this week.

GrabStar Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition – £7.50

Many of us are fans of Star Wars. Many more of us are fans of first-person shooters. If you’re a fan of both then Star Wars Battlefront would be something that peaked you’re interest early on back in 2015.

However, if you’re someone who was turned away by the £115 price tag for the Ultimate Edition bundle then this week’s deal may be just what you have been looking for.

Star Wars Battlefront Ultimate Edition brings the popular first-person shooter along with all of the DLC packs full of extra maps and lavish content with it, and whilst you can certainly get in on the action with an active EA Access membership, the extra content will certainly be costing you more than the current asking price if you were to hunt each one out individually.

Whether you buy this as a newcomer or you’re after some extra content for your experience we reckon this is a no brainer and well worth the cash.

LeaveHorse Racing 2016 – £2.60

Although it doesn’t happen very often, sometimes a game can find its way to our consoles that we would regret playing even if we got them for free.

Horse Racing 2016 is one such game and even with the price dropped to £2.60, we simply cannot advise you to add this to your collection.

From the horrible graphics, clunky controls and poor mechanics, to whipping horses to death and a general lack of anything enjoyable, there is nothing Horse Racing 2016 does well. Sure, it may be the only horse racing title on the market right now, but we highly advise you wait it out to see a new entry from the G1 Jockey franchise before picking up this poor offering.

So, there we have it, another week of Xbox Live Deals With Gold and our thoughts on just what you should and shouldn’t be adding to your collection. Do you agree with our choices? Let us know in the comments below or via our usual social channels, and don’t forget to head on over to CDkeys for some super cheap Xbox Live Credit to help spread the cash a little further this week.

Battlefront is a great price although I’m concerned that the servers will be empty by now or that the only people playing will be ultra hardcore gamers that will smash me to bits!
