Working in an office, you see all sorts of sights, some accidental, some purposeful. Likewise, things are more exciting than others: a new-born baby being brought into an office fills me with dread for example. However, if someone brings their pet in for the day, it makes the time in the office infinitely better. But what if two people brought pets in on the same day, and one was a cat and the other a dog? Chaos would ensure. That’s the basis for Pets at Work, out today on Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation.
In amongst causing untold chaos, the warring cat and dog have gotten themselves lost within the office. They have no option now but to work together in Pets at Work. This 2D co-operative platformer can be played in single player and local multiplayer as you work together to find their way home.
We need to talk to the interior designer for this office though as it really isn’t functional as a workspace. As a basis for a platforming game however, it is perfectly suited. Use chairs, tables, boxes and more to help get this cat and dog out of there and stop them from causing any further damage.
Pets at Work also features:
- 2D pet platforming puzzles
- Run and jump around an office
- Single player or co-op multiplayer modes
Did we mention that Pets at Work is the latest Ratalaika Games port? I can almost hear the pricking of ears of achievement hunters now.
Pets at Work is on the Xbox Store now priced at £4.99. There is also an introductory discount dropping the price to £3.99 for a limited time. Our review will be coming soon but if you are an achievement hunter, you’ve likely already downloaded and completed. Let us know in the comments if that is you.
