Ready for the Anthology of Fear on Xbox?

The name alone is enough to send chills running down the spine. But are you ready to take on the Anthology of Fear on Xbox?

A unique psychological horror, Anthology of Fear comes to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S to tell a story of a mysterious disappearance. Distinguished by its ambiguous reality and multidimensional fear and having previously launched on PC and Nintendo Switch, Anthology of Fear is one that will excite.

It’ll be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later in 2023 too.

Psychological horror

Created by those at OhDeer Studio and 100 GAMES, with Ultimate Games publishing, Anthology of Fear plays out in a first person style. From there, all manner of psychological horror takes place, with the promise of some super stylish audiovisual design promised. The gameplay is based primarily on exploration, puzzle-solving, and investigation.

Anthology of Fear tells the story of Nathan’s disappearance, building out with multiple side plots that are closely related to the mysterious disappearance. Among other things, we learn the story from the perspective of his brother, Ethan, who is looking for him. The protagonist conducts a one-man investigation and searches for the truth, although this is not easy and leads to a confrontation with what seems surreal and difficult to understand.

“Anthology of Fear is a horror game with a linear story, in which there is no shortage of paranormal and tragic experiences, a sense of being hounded, and horrors lurking in the recesses of the human subconscious. The tension and suffocating atmosphere here are enhanced by both evocative visuals and sound design that is appropriately adapted to the situation. This is also a game that touches on the issue of severe mental disorders, in which it alludes to the real world,” says COO of Ultimate Games S.A., RafaÅ‚ Jelonek.

A few hours of gametime

A playthrough of Anthology of Fear should take you three or four hours, with multiple chapters delivering the game and story from the perspective of several different characters.

And there are some properly key features to enjoy as Anthology of Fear on Xbox releases too. The main features include:
