Think of the year 2030. Then think of what the racing will be like then. Well, if SOEDESCO and 3DClouds.it have their way, it’ll be a bit like Xenon Racer.

Announced today is the future of racing, as the electrifying Xenon Racer is confirmed for digital and physical Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch releases, whilst PC players will have to make do with digital only.

But what is Xenon Racer? Well, simply put, it IS the future of racing and in the year 2030 the traditional wheeled racing machines that we have come to know and love are fast being made redundant. But there is time for one last championship to take place before the era of flying vehicles really strangles the life out of the old tech for the final time.

It is therefore time for cutting edge electric cars boosted by Xenon gas, to be found rushing through treacherous turns as bright neon lights flash by. You’ll get the chance to drift through the futuristic streets of cities like Tokyo and Dubai, resisting massive G-forces, and demanding the utmost of the technology in order to be able to race at breakneck speeds in the pursuit of eternal victory.

Have a watch of the very first trailer for Xenon Racer below. If you’re attending the Milan Games Week this coming weekend then you’ll find Xenon Racer will be shown in public for the very first time ever. Make sure you swing by and give it a good old look!

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore. Gamertag is neil363, feel free to add me to your list.
