A new eFootball Championship event and goodies?

With the move from Pro Evolution Soccer to the free-to-play eFootball, players across the globe have had the chance to enjoy what Konami have pushed out in their flagship football title. Today it’s time for Konami and their players to celebrate, as a huge download milestone is hit. And there’s a new eFootball Championship Club Event alongside other things to enjoy too.

Some 700 million downloads of eFootball have taken place worldwide. To help celebrate that achievement Konami are looking to give back to the players. They are doing so with the first in-game campaign for 2024, with gifts on offer between January 11th (that’s now) and February 1st.

Special log-in gifts

It’s in this three week period in which a special log-in gift will be delivered. These come in the form of a Player of the Week (POTW) each and every week, running to a total of three. But further to is the opportunity to get involved in a Worldwide Chance Deal, working as an every day log-in bonus hit.

During this period, firing up eFootball whereever you may see fit will see you able to take part in a variety of Tour Events, or Challenge Events, or eFootball Leagues. Do so and a potential 200,000 GP, 210 eFootball coins and more could be coming your way.

eFootball 2024 Bayern Munich event

Further to that though, and on the back of eFootball moving to version 3.2.0 at the end of 2023, is the new FC Bayern München Club Event. Kicking off on 15th January, this will see players from around the world competing in regional in-game qualifiers, before taking part in a final to establish the finest player for each club. Win out and you could be found representing Bayern going forward.

The Asian Cup 2023 in eFootball

But there’s more. Konami have also detailed a special log-in gifts that focuses on the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023. You’ll have the chance to grab ten different Chance Deals in-game. And alongside that will be three epic players from each of Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

So, going to fire up eFootball 2024 and see what comes your way? You may as well, seeing as it is free.

eFootball 2024 is playable on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S via an Xbox Store download. You’ll also find the game on PlayStation, PC and mobile.

I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
