What were you doing back in the mid-1980s? If you were gaming, chances are you would have been doing it with Alex Kidd. Now though Alex Kidd is back with a fully confirmed release date of Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, alongside a rather special Signature Edition.
Coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC on June 24th 2021, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX will drop the nostalgia bombs left, right and centre. And the price is looking pretty retro too – £14.99/$19.99/€19.99
After having first been revealed back in June of 2020, Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX will catapult Alex Kidd into a new generation with striking art, improved boss fight systems and different modes! And whilst the original content will all be included, extra levels will also be thrown in, expanding the lore of the original title to bring a fresh dimension to Alex Kidd in Miracle World.
It will be the Retro Mode which brings back the nostalgia from the Master System classic, allowing players to switch back to a recreated version of the original graphical style. A new Boss Rush Mode which provides non-stop Rock Paper Scissors action will also be in place as the DX version of Alex Kidd in Miracle World includes a wealth of extra content to expand on the original version.
Expect other updates too, such as improvements to combat, movement mechanics and new menu systems, as we see Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX adding a whole new level of fluidity to the original classic.
