You may have thought that Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was only going to release on PS4. Well, you were wrong as it’s now been confirmed for Xbox One and PC too!
Bandai Namco have today confirmed that the latest in the Ace Combat series, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, will be making its way to Xbox One, PS4 and PC – putting even more gamers in the cockpit of the most advanced war planes ever and promising to deliver some of the fiercest air combat experiences we’ve ever known.
Utilising Unreal Engine 4, Skies Unknown will create hugely immersive battlefields though photorealistic visuals, intense dogfights and a while multitude of aircraft to fly. With an all-encompassing storyline to boot, players will be able to take their dogfighting skills online with furious multiplayer battles, showing off a ton of near-future weapons in the process.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown also marks the return of Sunao Katabuchi as the lead writer behind the fictional storyline that players will experience in the game. Previously, Sunao Katabuchi wrote the storylines for both Ace Combat 4: Shattered Skies and Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War and so we can expect something pretty special this time round.
We’ll bring you more as we have it, but if you were left casting an eye over to the PS4 world, jealous in the fact that Ace Combat 7 was all theirs, then you need not worry anymore.
