Bored of kicking back and sniping from long range? Sniper Elite 5‘s latest expansion content will allow you to get involved in all aspects of sabotage, as the Saboteur Weapon and Skin Pack arrives for action.Â
Available right now, present and correct for Sniper Elite 5 players to enhance their base game is the Saboteur Weapon and Skin Pack. It’s priced at £8.79, or comes as part of Sniper Elite 5 Season Pass Two, following on from previous drops of Death from Above and Rough Landing.Â
The Saboteur Weapon and Skin Pack will give you access to new weapons (as the name suggests), with the TERA rifle and Grease Gun in place, whilst a Liberator character skin for Karl should fill out the whole ‘Resistance’ look. Details of each weapon as follows…
- The Type 1 TERA, which provides a rapid rate of fire with good accuracy thanks to its low levels of recoil. Featuring a folding stock for improved portability, the TERA is incredibly fast to equip and aim down the sight.
- The Grease Gun is an SMG with great mobility that is very easy to control, even under sustained firing, thanks to its low rate of fire and recoil. Despite its low muzzle velocity, the stability and control on offer make it a solid choice for slightly longer ranged combat encounters.
- The Liberator Skin celebrates the liberation of Paris. Karl can now sport a classic French Resistance appearance complete with signature armband.
Further to all that and Rebellion are keeping all Sniper Elite 5 players sweet with a new free map – the Rhine Crossing. Based on the battle of Remagen at the Ludendorff Bridge in Germany, the new map is set at night and the iconic towers on the collapsed bridge offer the highest vantage points on either side of the no cross zone. With diagonal sightlines across the corners of the map and cover offered by the remains of the bridge, players will have to be at their stealthy best and make use of the dark to prevail.
In order to make use of any of this, you’ll need the base game of Sniper Elite 5 to hand, whether that be on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 or PC. Grab it from the Xbox Store if you’re an Xbox player. It’s on Game Pass so you’ve no real excuse not to play.
