We may not be able to travel, and we may not be able to live the hotel life for real, but that’s not stopping the NACON and RingZero Game Studio teams from giving us the opportunity to do it virtually. For come this August we’ll not just be found loving the hotel life, but we’ll be going deeper still, building and running our very own establishment on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC with Hotel Life – A Resort Simulator.

Hotel Life – A Resort Simulator will release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC on August 26th 2021, giving us the chance to head off to the most idyllic of locations before building and running the very best hotel possible.

Coming from NACON’s new ‘Life’ label, Hotel Life will thrust you in to the nitty gritty of life as a hotel manage, left to make the right decisions at the correct times. That will mean ensuring that your best hotels are built in the most prime of spots, before being tastefully furnished and decorated. You’ll also have to plan for your guests boredome levels too – not everyone wants to sit on the beach all day – and so adding in a programme of activities is par for the course.

Of course, you won’t be able to do all this alone and as your hotel empire grows, staff will need to be hired.

Hotel Life – A Resort Simulator will come with a deep career mode which will take you through objective meeting and event operations; getting increasingly more tricky the more you succeed. But there will also be the chance to have a day off, taking in Waiting Mode and just enjoying what you have created.

The trailer below will give a decent insight into what you should expect to find in Hotel Life. I guess between this and the recently released Animal Doctor, the sim genre is in safe hands. Isn’t it?

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
