Are you or any of your friends suffering from the fear of missing out at not being able to play the latest Call of Duty when so many others are? Well fear no more, as now everyone has access! Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is out now on Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
Not to be confused with the 2009 sequel, nor the 2020 remaster same game, this Modern Warfare II is entirely new. A sequel to the 2019 Modern Warfare – itself not to be confused with others – you take control of Task Force 141. Travel the world in both real and fictional locations on the hunt for Major Hassan Zyani, an Iranian army leader gone awry.
As is standard with Call of Duty, alongside the main campaign is their multiplayer modes and Special Ops mode. Where is the zombies mode you ask? Well, that could well be in one of the six content packs due for arrival in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
No matter which version you pick up, these content packs will release periodically with new modes, enhancements and more.
That doesn’t mean that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II doesn’t have some extra goodies for those that want them. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II – Cross-Gen Bundle is the base game version on the Xbox Store for £69.99. This comes with the aforementioned content packs, due for release in the future. There is also the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II – Vault Edition for £99.99. This comes with everything above, the Season 1 Battle Pass and 50 Tier Skips, and some extra goodies useable in both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone.
