There’s a rock-solid premise at the core of Killer Chambers: what if you took the confined spaces of an escape room, and then fired shedloads of bullets at the person in that escape room? Well, that person would probably die, and yes, they will die plenty of times in Killer Chambers. More importantly, they would probably dodge, jump and hide until the bullets ran out. There you have it: the essence of Killer Chambers. Killer Chambers is out now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S to join previous releases on Nintendo Switch and PC.
Straight out of France from debutants Douze Dixièmes is Shady Part of Me, a platform-puzzler. It’s been released without any real fanfare, but it’s no indication of the game’s quality. In fact, there’s plenty to get excited about, as we’ve given this a play and can confirm that it’s a fantastically atmospheric and narrative-driven adventure in the manner of Little Nightmares and Inside. You may remember the cheap, yet rather addictive, puzzler SiNKR released by Wahler Digital earlier this year.
