Most gamers will have heard of Potion Permit by now. You know, the cost life-sim mixed with an old-school adventure game where you help create potions to aid the residents of the new town you find yourself in. Our review of Potion Permit was kind but argued that it was perhaps lacking a bit of substance. Good thing then that there is plenty of new DLC bits on the way, out today on Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation.
To celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year and The Year of the Rabbit, Potion Permit has some specially themed items releasing to decorate your room with. The full list includes:
- Lunar New Year Lantern – £1.19
- Lunar New Year Lanterns – £1.19
- Red Flower Arrangement – £0.79
- Oriental Folding Wall – £0.79
- Lucky Cat Statue – £1.19
It is worth noting the difference between Lunar New Year Lantern and Lanterns. The first link is for a singular lantern, the latter is for three lanterns all in a row. You can choose which one you like the look of most, but three for the price of one seems like a much better deal to me.
As for the others, they can be picked up at any point from the Xbox Store and used to decorate your room as you see fit. If you picked up any of the decorations for Christmas or the beach themed ones too, then you will have a healthy collection that covers almost any season!
It is worth noting that you obviously need the Potion Permit base game in order to be able to enjoy these decorations. You can pick Potion Permit up on the Xbox Store for as low as £16.99, but there are other versions of the game available also.
Will you be picking up any of the new Lunar New Year goodies for Potion Permit? As always, let us know in the comments if you do.
