There’s a pretty high chance that you know a thing or two about pubs. But aside from the local ales and high priced wines, do you really know how they work? Crossroads Inn is here to teach you the ‘inns’ and outs of the fantasy themed tavern business as you look to build and run your own drinking hole.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, after previously becoming a top 3 seller on PC through Steam (100,000 sales is nothing to ignore), Crossroads Inn is a real-time inn management sim, albeit one that is as far removed from your every day local as you could imagine.

Working in an oiriginal fantasy world of Delcrys, you’ll get the chance to life out your dreams as you build your own pub, running it thereafter. You’ll need to hire and fire, to train your staff, to manage deliveries and to set menus that are fit for a king. Or if not a king, some old guy who is happy to prop up the bar for the night.

Tactics and strategy will come to the fore in Crossroads Inn, all as you look to become the most famous innkeeper in the history of the land. With a story mode in place and ready to keep you immersed, and an Open World mode that will let you go crazy with the pub trade, there is much to look forward to now that Crossroads Inn is on console.

You’ll get a ton of content too, with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S version of Crossroads Inn not just providing access to the base game, but the Pests & Puppies DLC, The Pit DLC, the Hooves and Wagons content pack and more. In fact, all of the following…

  • The basic version of the game
  • Pests & Puppies DLC that allows you to breed animals and fight off pests
  • The Pit DLC allows you to build underground and to conduct illegal business
  • The Hooves & Wagons DLC introducing horses, carriages, and stables
  • Bath & Beauty DLC that allows you to beautify toilets and baths
  • Crops & Harvest DLC (new content) focused on the crop and harvest cycle
  • A new type of a bard and an adventurer

You’ll also find Crossroads Inn pushing out further content later – stuff covering The Circus (something which has been inspired by The Amazing American Circus) and a Booze and Liquor expansion which will cover those interested in moonshine.

Game features include:

  • – Real-time management sim and RPG in one!
  • – Two distinct game modes: an epic Campaign mode with a non-linear story (12 different endings!) and nearly endless Sandbox mode dedicated to hardcore sim fans
  • – A rich and detailed lore with feuding factions and powerful organizations – choose to forge alliances or work against others in an original low fantasy setting
  • – Once in a lifetime culinary adventure designed in cooperation with the experts from Nerds’ Kitchen! Discover recipes, create new dishes and serve varied menus to attract different social groups
  • – A complex tavern economy simulation with various groups of customers, special guests, unique and regular employees, dozens of resources and facilities to build and develop
  • – Expanded in-game culinary recipes along with a fully developed nutritional system created to influence relationships with different guests and fractions

Our full review of Crossroads Inn on Xbox will be with you soon. For now though you’ll be able to grab the usual download from the Xbox Store. A price of £24.99 is all you’ll need to muster up.

Game Description:

Crossroads Inn is a real-time management sim with role-playing games elements. The game consists of two unique modes offering totally different experiences. In Sandbox mode gamers will focus solely on managing their business and economy – to build their very own tavern, hire and oversee staff, manage the supply chains and create new dish recipes. In Campaign mode, micromanagement is just a prelude to a rich story as the kingdom is in turmoil and a shift of power is expected. Your Inn will soon attract the attention of important political and military figures, who are desperately trying to hold on to the reins of power. Gamers will become part of a large-scale drama full of political intrigues, vivid characters, treacherous NPC’s and dangerous quests inspired by RPG games – You will even have a damsel in distress to save!
