Ah 2023. The year of every game under the sun. The twelve months in which pretty much every single game previously announced is due to release. 2023 is getting better still though, especially if you’re a younger gamer, as Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart has been revealed.

Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart brings the award-winning pre-school dinosaur franchise to life like never before, as it gets set to deliver four player racing fun for all the family, going up against the very best kart racers which are available across the gaming world.

It’s coming from those at Outright Games as they join forces with Cyber Group Studios, a leading producer and distributor of animated series for children and families worldwide. And when it does drop in 2023, it’ll be available to play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PC and Google Stadia.

The chance to race around Cretacia in an action-packed kart championship that’s almost as big as Gigantosaurus’s appetite should be one that you cannot turn your nose up at, as players of all ages compete against their friends and family with auto-steering karts and on-screen text tip read aloud by Mazu the brainy Ankylosaurus.

But there’s more to Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart than that and this will also be able to cater for four players as they play together in split screen multiplayer for a real family adventure. It’s a game in which you’ll be able to go kart or go home in this prehistoric racing showdown, choosing from eight different characters including Bill, Mazu, Rocky and Tiny, speed around fifteen tracks full of awesome obstacles and power up across multiple locations throughout Cretacia.

You’ll also get to collect special skills on the track to create shortcuts or gain a jetpack-powered boost to zoom ahead of the opposition and win the race all whilst steering clear of Gigantosaurus, the biggest and fiercest dinosaur in the land.

If you’re unaware, Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart is based the successful animated TV series Gigantosaurus, currently streaming worldwide on Disney+ and Netflix and airing internationally on major channels such as Disney Junior (worldwide), France Télévisions, POP (UK), Super RTL (Germany), RAI yoyo (Italy), RTVE – Clan (Spain), CCTV (China), TV Azteca (Mexico) and NHK (Japan).

Terry Malham CEO of Outright Games said, ‘We’re so excited to be working with Cyber Group Studios again on an all new Gigantosaurus game – this time putting the dinos’ iconic vehicles in the spotlight! We’re looking forward to gamers of all ages playing as these beloved characters in the world of Giganotosaurus in their first ever kart racing game. We can’t wait to share it with everyone next year!’

Thierry Braille, Vice President Interactive and Videogame Division and Dominique Bourse COO at Cyber Group Studios said ‘We’re thrilled to be teaming up with our friends at Outright Games for our second game featuring Gigantosaurus and all of the beloved characters from the show. We’re upping the ante with this brand-new video game that is shaping up to be a kart racing spectacular!’

Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart will be released in 2023 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, PC and Google Stadia. And if you need a Gigantosaurus fix right now? Gigantosaurus: The Game is already available.

Will you be jumping behind the wheel?

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
