Heartwarming adventure My Brother Rabbit arrives on Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch

-

Every now and then the gaming world pulls the emotion card and tugs on the heartstrings. Today is one of those days as Artifex Mundi release their super emotive trip into the dreamlands.

Available right now for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch players to warmly embrace is My Brother Rabbit.

Now, the title in itself is a rather powerful one, but once you get past that and into the action, will find a game that is both heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time.

Priced at £11.99, My Brother Rabbit tells the tale of a family who are hoping to restore the health of the daughter of the group. With her older brother wishing to help in any way he can, the power of imagination takes over and you are whisked to a fantastically surreal world that the kids have conjured up.

This is where a sweet little rabbit begins to take care of his friend flower. To reach those who can heal her, he sets out on a journey that requires not just a keen eye but some smart thinking along with it, seeing you going around collecting hidden objects and other items in order to apply them to the riddles hiding throughout the world.

With a multitude of secret areas and objects available to find, you’ll discover a host of minigames ready to take in. With Artifex Mundi’s history of the Hidden Object genre delivering a ton of these over the years, you can be sure that these will be well worked and hugely entertaining. By going through these, you’ll find that rabbit gets closer to making his friend flower better.

It all sounds like a lovely idea but only our full review will be able to tell you if it works as a great gameplay experience. Keep an eye out for that as it’ll be with you before you know it. In the meantime, a purchase of My Brother Rabbit can be grabbed from a digital store near you.

Chances are you won’t want to miss this one.

Game Description:

My Brother Rabbit is a beautifully drawn adventure set in a surreal world that mixes reality with a child’s imagination. A young girl faces a terrible reality when she falls ill. The little girl and her brother use the power of imagination to escape the hostile outside world. Together they envision a fantastic universe that provides the play and comfort they need. In this magnificent land of make-believe, a little rabbit wants to nurse his ill friend the flower back to health in any way he can. On this journey, the rabbit must use his wits to decipher puzzles inspired by classic point-and-clicks to continue his adventure. Help the rabbit play minigames, find hidden objects, and assemble strange machinery in a world where conventional logic doesn’t apply. Join this colorful quest through five wondrous lands filled with robo-moose, levitating baobabs, giant mushrooms, melting clocks, and more unbelievable things that will make you question everything you think you know about reality.
