Is there an optimum time for a game to sit in Steam before it makes moves to console? We’re not too sure really, but are never surprised to see something that has spent a year or so on PC finally port over. But seven years? A lot changes in seven years. Kingdom of Aurelia: Mystery of the Poisoned Dagger has been on PC through Steam since 2016. In all that time, it’s picked up some ‘Mostly Positive’ reviews. The thing is, those reviews are limited to 18. Yep, not much more than two reviews A YEAR!
We can’t believe that Kingdom of Aurelia: Mystery of the Poisoned Dagger has managed to pick up much interest through that, but with the move to Xbox, a whole new wave of players get to take things in.
Originally put together by the Shaman Games Studio, published by HH-Games, Kingdom of Aurelia: Mystery of the Poisoned Dagger hits Xbox via those at Joindots. Priced at £16.74, it’s possibly just about worth a punt.

This is a Steampunk adventure (remember those?), taking you off to the magical world of Aurelia, left to solve puzzles in the process. The hunt for answers is your ultimate goal.
Of course, finding the solutions you need won’t be all that easy. With mysterious folk in place, each of whom may or may not be trustworthy, slowly working through will be your best bet.
Ultimately, Kingdom of Aurelia: Mystery of the Poisoned Dagger focuses on the story of a poisoned princess. But with fantastical visuals and music pushing things along, the chance to get immersed should be high.
If you are one of the few to have played Kingdom of Aurelia: Mystery of the Poisoned Dagger on PC, then we’re not sure the Xbox port will be of interest. But, if Steampunk is your bag, puzzle solving being your itch, then it may well worth be looking at.
