Team17 and Pathea Games have finally set a release date for the arrival of their charming sandbox simulation RPG, My Time at Portia, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Pre-order bonuses have also been revealed for those wanting to get a purchase locked in before launch.

My Time at Portia is an upcoming game which will see you venturing to the rather enchanting town of Portia to have a fresh start in life, where you’ll spend time restoring the run-down workshop that belonged to your Pa. Gathering resources, mining and crafting is going to be crucial in returning the workshop to its former glory. But there’s much more than that to the experience, with townsfolk to befriend, mysteries to unveil, animals to raise, and crops to grow, within this lovely land that could benefit from some rejuvenation too.

Inspired by much loved games like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon, with a sprinkle of Studio Ghibli magic, My Time at Portia is sure to whisk you off to an unforgettable and captivating world. And you won’t have to wait too long for such an experience as the My Time at Portia release date has been set for 16th April on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

Digital pre-orders are available right now and if you pay the required cash before launch, you’ll also receive the Housewarming Gift Set DLC as a bonus. This includes an exclusive jacket, ripped jeans and two pieces of furniture – a Lion with Wings Statue and the Cuckoo Station Clock. That’s not all though, with Rainbow Jelly and Dried Beef consumables and 500 Gols (in-game currency) obtained as bonuses.

To celebrate the announcement, there’s a brand new trailer for your perusal too. So sit back, give it a watch and then ponder over how you’ll spend your time in Portia when it finally arrives.
