We’ve been holding out for the release of Yoku’s Island Express for a good few months, and just recently we found out that the game would be arriving in digital format at the end of May. Well, to increase the hype around Team17 and Villa Gorilla’s pinball platformer, a brand new trailer has emerged alongside confirmation of a physical release.

Coming to Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC on May 29th 2018, Yoku’s Island Express is a pinball game with a difference, as it utlilises many platforming mechanics as you whizz the delightful little Yoku around Mokumana Island, as he delivers parcels in his new role as island postmaster.

The latest trailer that has been released centres on that role and the story of the island, letting us in on the secrets of how the God Slayer has arisen to plague the ancient island and exactly what our pint-sized postman will need to do in order to save the day.

But alongside that trailer also comes news that Yoku’s Island Express will be getting a physical edition of the game, with all console platforms seeing a boxed release arriving on 15th June (Europe/Australia) and then 19th June for those in North America. If you don’t fancy going down the digital route, then that could well be a bit of a pinball life saver.

If you do prefer to do away with the clutter, then you’ll find that the game is now available to pre-order from all good digital stores – the Microsoft Store is our favourite – with it coming in at a price of £15.99 / 19,99 € / $19.99 with a 10% pre-order discount available.

Check out the trailer and get your pre-orders in now.
