Growing up we were told not to play with our food. But here and now we can just crack on with what the hell we want. And with Run Sausage Run! on Xbox, those foody fun times await. 

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Run Sausage Run! from QubicGames is a fun little affair in which you take charge of a sausage looking to run a gauntlet of death. What do you mean you’ve never considered that before?

Avoiding getting sliced up, chopped to pieces, burned to a crisp or smashed to smithereens is the key to Run Sausage Run!’s success as the side-scrolling runner plays out. 

Building on the enjoyment is the chance to play as a host of different sausages, weisswurst or blutwurst for instance, but then Run Sausage Run! mixes things up some more, giving you the opportunity to run as some bacon, or a ninja, or even a certain yellow President. 

A classic (classic? Is it classic?) Sausage Race will let you hone your skills, or you can make the most of what you have as a Panic Race plays out – we’re guessing that one does as it says on the tin. 

Whether you race alone, or with local sofa-based friends, Run Sausage Run! looks to immerse you into a fun, wacky, little world. The question is, how fast can you run?
