It was only one month ago when we saw the arrival of Assetto Corsa Competizione, safe in the knowledge that multiple DLC packs were planned going forward. Well, good news, because the first of those is now here and the Intercontinental GT Pack DLC brings a whole host of great content… at a price.
Available to purchase and download right now is the DLC pack with the longest name in the history of DLC packs – the Assetto Corsa Competizione Intercontinental GT Pack DLC. Priced at £12.49, this isn’t a cheap little add-on either, instead providing fans of the latest Assetto Corsa title the opportunity to race around four new circuits, to take in more than 45 new liveries across 30 teams and 50 drivers.
Coming direct from the real-life Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli, the Assetto Corsa Competizione Intercontinental GT Pack DLC will see you racing around Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit (South Africa), Suzuka Circuit (Japan), Weathertech®️ Raceway Laguna Seca (USA) and Mount Panorama Circuit (Australia), extending and enhancing the already beefy GT Series to the Intercontinental GT Challenge. And yes, all those circuits have been painstakingly recreated via Laserscan technology to ensure each and every minute detail is included.
It’s a shame that this DLC pack isn’t included in the Assetto Corsa Competizione Season Pass, as that would make huge sense to us, but at least those who have previously purchased that in the hope of adding new content to their game will still be able to look forward to the arrival of the GT4 Pack DLC in the Fall 2020, and the British GT Pack DLC in the Winter.
To enjoy this latest content you’ll need the base game of Assetto Corsa Competizione on Xbox One, PS4 or PC in place. From there, your usual digital store should sort you out. The Xbox Store is our favourite. Obviously.
The Intercontinental GT Pack DLC introduces 4 iconic international circuits in Assetto Corsa Competizione, from four different continents: – Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit (South Africa) – Suzuka Circuit (Japan) – Weathertech®️ Raceway Laguna Seca (USA) – Mount Panorama Circuit (Australia) These tracks extend the GT Series to the Intercontinental GT Challenge, providing an unforgivable and challenging driving experience thanks to their exclusive layout finely reproduced using Laserscan®️ technology, allowing for an extreme precision in detail. The DLC also features more than 45 new car liveries, 30 new teams and 50 new drivers in addition to new game modes, all from the real-life Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli.
