The eerie secrets of Apartment #17 await in Frightence

frightence on xbox

Blood curdling legends. Eerie Tales. Utter madness. Welcome to Apartment #17 and Frightence.

Available to purchase and download today on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, with following days seeing launch on Nintendo Switch (March 10th) and PS4 (March 11th), Frightence from Playstige Interactive is a horror game in which you play the role of a humble janitor, going about your business, cleaning up all around you.

But tonight is different and on the back of an eviction notice, you need to head to Apartment #17, hoping and praying that all occupants have left. Very soon though, you realise something is not right.

We’ll be honest, info and details as to how Frightence plays out are very thin on the ground. Aside from the fact that it’s hitting Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S today for £4.99, with PlayStation and Switch versions to follow, little is known about what is to occur.

You can be sure we’ll fire through it in our full review of Frightence on Xbox though – detailing what is good, what is bad and what is utterly horrendous about this eerie adventure.

Stay tuned for that but for now head to the Xbox Store in order to be able to immerse yourself in the frights. If you do, let us know what you think of this one – the comments are below and the social channels are plentiful. We’d love to hear from you.

Game Description:

Frightence is a short, intense first-person horror experience. An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
