Three years since we saw the release of the original AFL Evolution on Xbox One, and a couple since that was updated to deliver the 2018 season, the AFL is back, this time as AFL Evolution 2 launches on Xbox One.
Continuing to push the evolution forward, AFL Evolution 2 takes the standard Australian Football League to new heights, with multiple new features, a deeper career system, online options and brand new commentary direct from Anthony Hudson and Garry Lyon.
Priced at a rather cool £49.99 – and we’ll be honest, that seems a tad high – if you’re bored of the usual sports games to hit console and fancy something a little different then AFL Evolution 2 looks set to deliver. You see, not only does it deliver a true-to-life experience of the modern day AFL game, but the career which is now in place will allow you to work with drafts, free agency and state leagues – all running alongside the AFL.
There are plenty of customisation options in place too, and this should ensure you can create your own AFL dream team with ease. Throw in the option to play against mates in head-to-head games, or with up to 8 other consoles, and it seems like AFL Evolution 2 on Xbox One should just about deliver what is needed of an AFL game.
