cards of the dead xbox

Slightly following real-world affairs, Cards of the Dead from JanduSoft has arrived on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC – if you think that humanity’s only hope is to get jabs into arms, you’re going to be sorted with this one.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam, Cards of the Dead sees you doing everything within your power to put a stop to the marching zombie hordes, with just a vaccine being the last hope.

It has you following the tale of Rick, Selena and Dan, as their interconnected tales play out, twisting and turning with every move. It’s here where the main focus sits on you making your way to a biological complex, hoping to retrieve a vaccine sample and get it out to the world. Where things differ slightly from real life (at least we hope), is that you have multiple weapons at your disposal, letting you fight the undead, working strategic calls and ensuring you stay safe.

With zombie hordes who never give up, and a Deadly Night mode in place for those looking for extreme survival missions, Cards of the Dead may well appeal.

Features include:

  • Multiple weapons: Get all the weapons at your disposal to take out the undead.
  • Survival strategy: Control your vaccine to avoid giving in to the infection while you stock up on food to recover your health and weapons to defend yourself.
  • A nightmare story: Unravel the role of the survivors and how their lives are intertwined in the same destiny.
  • Zombie Hordes: The zombie apocalypse will show you no mercy.
  • Deadly Night mode: An extreme survival mission against the clock with the goal of recovering a vaccine sample.

It’s helped by a pretty low price point too, with just a ÂŁ6.69 cash tag attached. When you consider this is fully optimised for the next-gen and Xbox Series X|S, that price gets better still.

Head to the Xbox Store to pick up Cards of the Dead on Xbox. You’ll find other formats stores doing the same.

Game Description:

An Xbox gamer since 2002, I bought the big black box just to play Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee. I have since loved every second of the 360's life and am now just as obsessed with the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S - mostly with the brilliant indie scene that has come to the fore.
